The Never-ending Journey

Family. What is important is family, and ultimately that is what Princess Andrea is looking for. It has been five months since my last blog. My time has been filled with lots of family and chocolate:)

I did not think it would be possible to convert thoughts into pictures…but Jessica Nicholas has managed to create the essence of The Ninth Child in her drawing. I am amazed at her work. It is a catalyst for me to try, try, try again to connect with someone in the publishing world to bring this book to print.

So far I have sent in sixteen queries to literary agents. There have been some nice rejections along the way and when I look back at some of my first queries, I completely understand why they were immediately sent to the slush pile. Thru the process, I have come to know the book and the characters much better. It is funny how you can actually put pen to paper but not be conscience of the actions going on until you are forced to examine the work, so that you can describe it to someone else.

I have started the second book in the series and for now it is called The Rise of the Farser Beast. My journey with Andrea continues.
